Apex Spray Check

See what your spray does.

Upload an Apex clip or paste a Twitch link. Spray Check finds each spray and estimates how far your aim moved up or down from your first shot, gun by gun. Free, no account.

A clipped match or fight: up to 30 minutes and 2 GB, with your weapon HUD visible. MP4 or MOV works best.

ReBiRtH ii, one ranked session: 5 tracked R-301 sprays so far. Over rounds 2–6 his aim sat a median +0.9° above the first shot. A finding needs 6.

Each dot is where one tracked spray’s aim sat over rounds 2–6, relative to its first shot. Estimated from gameplay video; following a moving target also moves your aim.
How it works

From a clip to every spray, gun by gun.

  1. 01

    Takes your clip

Upload a clipped match or fight, or paste a Twitch clip or VOD link. Up to 30 minutes.

  2. 02

    Detects firing bursts

It reads the ammo counter to find when you were firing, and with which gun.

  3. 03

Traces sprays where the view is clear

For bursts it can follow clearly, it estimates how far your aim moved up or down from the first shot. Bursts it can’t follow are left out, not guessed.

  4. 04

    Shows every spray

Each spray gets a line and a clip, grouped by gun. With 6 or more tracked sprays of one gun, it checks where your aim sat over rounds 2–6, above or below your first shot; when the sprays don’t agree, it says so.

Honest limits

What the numbers can and can’t tell you.

  • These are estimates from gameplay video, not game data or input telemetry.
  • Following a moving target also moves your aim. Spray Check looks at rounds 2–6, where the target has moved least, and stops a spray when your knock or kill banner appears, but it can’t remove target movement entirely.
  • Many bursts can’t be tracked clearly: fast turns, smoke, flashes, and scopes get in the way. You’ll see how many were tracked.
  • One session is a snapshot. Spray Check shows what happened; it doesn’t grade your recoil control or tell you how to fix it.
What we keep

What we keep and delete.

  • One clip a day needs no account, and you never connect your Twitch account.
  • The clip you upload or link is deleted once it’s checked, and always within 24 hours. The spray clips we make from it are deleted within 24 hours too.
  • Your result (the numbers) stays at its private link for 30 days, then it’s deleted. Emailing it to yourself is optional.
  • With a free account, full VODs are deleted 7 days after they’re added and results stay until you delete the recording.
  • Share links are opt-in. A share card shows the gun, the numbers, and your display name if you choose. It never shows video.
  • You can turn a share link off at any time. Images people already downloaded, and link previews cached by apps like Discord, may stay after you do.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Is it free?

Yes. One clip a day with no account. To check full VODs and keep your results over time, create a free ApexLens account.

What clips work?

Apex gameplay with the default weapon HUD visible, 16:9, ideally 1080p. Up to 30 minutes. Montages work, but edits can hide sprays or cut through them.

Does it read game memory or my inputs?

No. It only uses the recorded video, after you play. Nothing runs alongside Apex.

Why were only some of my sprays tracked?

Spray Check only measures bursts where the view is clear enough to follow. It would rather show fewer sprays than guess at the rest.

Is sitting above my first shot bad?

Not necessarily. Target movement, distance, and attachments all change where your aim sits. Spray Check shows the pattern in your session; what it means is up to you.

Can I share my result?

Yes, if you want to. You choose when to create a share link, and you can turn it off later.
